We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Solutions Consultant available to work on contract to join our team in London. This is a critical client-facing role, responsible for understanding complex business challenges that can then be translated into solutions that we offer.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical expertise, consultative selling skills, and a proven track record of delivering value-driven outcomes for enterprise-level clients. You will act as a trusted advisor, translating client needs into comprehensive solutions that leverage our platforms and services, particularly within the ecommerce industry.
Client Discovery:
- Participate in discovery sessions with prospective and existing clients to deeply understand their challenges, business objectives.
- Identify technological gaps, operational inefficiencies, and areas for improvement within their existing work streams.
Solution Design & Proposal:
- Develop compelling proposals, presentations, and solution maps that clearly articulate value, ROI, and implementation strategies.
- Collaborate closely with sales, product, and delivery teams to ensure proposed solutions are technically feasible and meet client expectations.
Technical Consultation & Expertise:
- Serve as the primary technical expert during the sales cycle, answering detailed product questions, addressing technical concerns, and guiding clients through complex solution designs.
- Conduct engaging product demonstrations and workshops, showcasing the features, capabilities, and benefits of our solutions tailored to specific client use cases.
- Lead or support trials to demonstrate the effectiveness and feasibility of certain proposed solutions.
Implementation & Support (Pre-Implementation Focus):
- Provide expert guidance during the pre-implementation phase, ensuring a smooth transition from sales to delivery.
- Act as a liaison between the client and internal delivery teams, ensuring clear communication of requirements and expectations.
- Contribute to the development of solution documentation, including scope, requirements, and technical specifications.
Market & Product Insight:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes.
- Provide valuable feedback to product development teams based on client needs and market insights.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience (ideally 3+ years) as a Solutions Consultant, Pre-Sales Consultant, or similar client-facing role in a SaaS organization.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience responding to RFPs/RFIs and crafting compelling proposals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and collaboration tools.
