What You Will Bring:

You have experience working as a Human Resources Generalist in a medium or large sized organization. You lead with process and data, but are able to adapt when solving problems. You take the initiative, are highly collaborative and always willing to support the team. You have a drive to help people, grow culture, make data based decisions, and support the success of Beam.

What You Will Do:

    • Ensure Beam’s compliance with federal, state, and local laws
    • Be the Subject Matter Expert and handle configuration for our HRIS systems
    • Partner with our broker on benefits administration 
    • Provide HR data and reports to leadership
    • Document and recommend internal processes and procedures
    • Design and deliver employee and manager trainings
    • Complete employment verifications, answer basic payroll questions and verify I-9s
    • Be a resource for employee needs and questions
    • Help support and promote Beam’s culture
    • May assist with recruiting or other special projects as the company continues to grow

What Skills Will Help You Be Successful:

    • 3+ years of human resources generalist experience
    • A Bachelor's Degree and HR certification (PHR or SHRM-CP) are preferred
    • Strong knowledge of employment laws, specifically FMLA and ADA
    • Experience working with a broker for benefits administration
    • Experience working with and configuring HRIS systems
    • Impeccable organization and interpersonal communication skills
    • Excellent training and presentation skills
    • Strong data skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to adapt to change in a rapidly growing start-up
