What We’re Looking For:
Beam is looking for an experienced Analytics Engineer to join our Engineering Team. In this role, you will be working cross-functionally with business domain experts, analytics, and engineering teams to build and maintain our data warehouse. You will have a significant part in building a solid data foundation for a data-driven company.
What You Will Do:
- Work with engineering, product, and analytics teams to understand and scope requirements to improve the useability, quality, and reliability of data for the business
- Collaborate with Data Engineers to further the development of our overall data platform
- Drive the development and maintenance of our data warehouse
- Apply software engineering best practices to uplift analytics processes
- Work with the data team to develop and maintain data quality rules, documentation and definitions
What Skills Will Help You Be Successful:
- Data warehousing experience, preferably with AWS or GCP at a hyper-growth company
- Advanced SQL concepts such as window functions
- Proficient with Python or another programming language
- Experience with or awareness of dbtBI visualization and administration experience such as Looker or Tableau
- Familiarity with data pipeline platforms such as Fivetran or Stitch
- Awareness of orchestration tooling such as Dagster or AirflowAbility to read Ruby code is a plus
- Experience working with SaaS data such as Salesforce, Zendesk, etc is a plus
$100,200 - $160,200 a year
The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and budget for the open position and also may vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other relevant factors. This range does not include an estimated value for any benefits, bonus, or other incentives that may be applicable based on position.
