What We're Looking For:
Beam’s Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team empowers the company with data-driven insights and recommendations. We develop financial models, perform data analytics, and manage strategic planning and forecasting. We value integrity, technical prowess, creative thinking, energy, and emotional intelligence.

We are looking for a Senior Manager of FP&A to join us and make a major impact across all areas of Finance. This role will be instrumental in building, iterating, and scaling our team and financial strategies, with a specific focus on driving budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with FP&A software and will help us implement and optimize tools like the Netsuite module or Planful/Adaptive.

What You Will Do:

    • Lead the development of efficiencies and process improvements within the team’s work streams, including financial model creation, refinement, and maintenance
    • Drive the implementation and optimization of FP&A tools like the Netsuite module or Planful/Adaptive to improve financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes
    • Coordinate fundraising and other capital activity effortsDevelop, coordinate, and report budgets and forecasts for individual departments
    • Analyze and interpret financial and operational data sets to answer strategic questions and support the financial analysis needs of the business
    • Provide senior management with budgets and periodic forecasts, including profit and loss (income statement) reporting
    • Manage financial aspects of special projects by identifying key drivers, conducting analyses, and presenting conclusions
    • Lead monthly financial reporting and variance analysis
    • Oversee annual budgeting and forecasting cycles, including re-forecasting processes
    • Prepare ad-hoc financial reports as needed to support management decisions

Minimum Qualifications:

    • BA/BS degree and 8+ years of experience in corporate finance, management consulting, transaction services, or investment banking
    • Proven FP&A experience within established businesses, ideally in the consumer digital sector
    • Hands-on experience with FP&A software like Netsuite, Planful, Adaptive, or similar systems
    • Experience with insurance, structured finance, or SaaS is preferred but not required
    • Familiarity with Salesforce, SQL, Tableau, VBA, or Python is a plus
    • Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis processes, including annual budgets and monthly forecasts
$132,498 - $211,900 a year

The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and budget for the open position and also may vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other relevant factors. This range does not include an estimated value for any benefits, bonus, or other incentives that may be applicable based on position.
