With multiple industrial projects currently under construction and 9 projects totaling over 1.5M SF currently in development across the GTA, Beedie is looking for talented individuals to join our growing Ontario team as we continue to be built for good.

Position Overview
This role is for an individual who will be a critical part of Beedie’s Ontario industrial condo program. This includes supporting transaction analyses, understanding industrial market conditions, and coordinating with stakeholders both internally and with external brokers, legal, consultants and clients. This role will have exposure to and be a critical part of all aspects of the sales and marketing platform as well as the acquisition process, development, and construction, at a very fast pace exciting development company.

Key Responsibilities

    • Industrial Condo Development, Sales, Marketing & Transactions:
    • Provide support to the sales and marketing teams located in Ontario and British Columbia as they execute on strategic sales and marketing initiatives specific to the Ontario market
    • Respond to purchaser enquiries and provide support throughout the transaction and due diligence processes
    • Collect and compile comparables for land sales, lease transactions and sale transactions for use in feasibility analyses
    • Review competitive listings by commercial brokerages and provide regular market updates to the sales team
    • Coordinate site visits and property tours with real estate brokers and prospective purchasers
    • Provide support to purchasers during the planning and approval process for both office and facility related improvement work
    • Coordinate all aspects of the turnover process to new purchasers with assistance from the project manager and property manager
    • Provide support for the preparation of documents required for completion of all Purchase and Sale and Lease Agreements
    • Assist with the compilation and review of all materials necessary for outgoing proposals
    • Coordinate with construction and development teams to ensure project timelines are up to date, assist in updating project workback schedules
    • Maintain integrity of information within the brokers due diligence folder, purchaser’s contractor’s folder and other internal folders
    • Collate information for the purchaser’s property management folder ahead of construction completion and sales completion
    • Assist in the coordination of consultant deliverables including, lawyers, brokers, surveyor, and property manager
    • Maintain databases for property tax figures and coordinate MPAC assessments
    • Assist Development Manager with the condo registration process, coordinating with consultants, construction and development teams and provincial/local approving authorities

    • Database Management
    • Maintain integrity of information in SharePoint and the CRM for all aspects of development
    • Track all incoming prospects and assist in maintaining constant communication on all current and upcoming projects
    • Assist Contract Coordinator in tracking critical details of all Purchase and Sale and Lease Agreements and associated critical dates 

    • Scheduling, Coordinating & Other Administration
    • Assist in the planning and execution of broker events both on and off site
    • Coordinate all internal and external meetings
    • Track all critical dates which will require updating multiple information resources and departments
    • Collect, organize and track due diligence deliverables
    • Correspond with clients and commercial real estate brokers as required
    • Edit/proof-read communications to management
