This Position
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for coordinating and scheduling deliveries performed by our in-house trucks. This includes both landscape supply deliveries and roll-off debris box services.
You’ll also serve as the main customer service representative for the Roll-Off division, working directly with customers to ensure their hauling needs are met with efficiency and great service. This role requires balancing cost-effectiveness, time management, and compliance—all while keeping the customer experience front and center.
You’ll report directly to the Logistics Coordinator and work closely with our drivers, customers, yard staff, and third-party haulers to keep everything moving smoothly.

What You'd Be Doing
- Plan, organize, and assign daily trucking schedules for both company drivers and third-party haulers.
- Coordinate the delivery of landscape supplies and the pickup of roll-off debris boxes.
- Communicate regularly with drivers, vendors, and internal teams to provide accurate load information and updates.
- Work with yard and inventory teams to ensure product readiness and equipment availability.
- Develop routing plans that maximize efficiency, reduce fuel use, and meet customer delivery deadlines.
- Monitor truck locations, adjust to delays or unexpected changes, and keep communication clear.
- Ensure all operations comply with DOT regulations, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records for compliance, including driver hours, equipment maintenance, and load tracking.
- Use dispatch software to monitor route progress, maintain schedules, and generate reports.
- Troubleshoot issues quickly—whether it’s a missed delivery, vehicle breakdown, or schedule conflict—and work with the team to resolve it.
- Look for opportunities to improve systems, reduce costs, and support team performance.
Requirements
- At least 2–4 years of experience in dispatch, customer service, or a coordination role.
- Excellent written, oral, and phone communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail to help avoid and catch errors.
- Ability to stay organized and focused in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Docs, Drive, Gmail).
- Experience with dispatch software (or ability to quickly learn).
- A collaborative, team-first mindset and a courteous, professional communication style.
$23 - $25 an hour
Range dependent on skills and experience
