Are you a seasoned leader with deep knowledge of the paint industry? Do you thrive in a hands-on environment where your expertise and leadership directly impact the success of your team and customers? We’re looking for an experienced Store Manager to help launch and lead our brand-new paint store.
About the Role:
This is not your typical management position. This is a unique opportunity to help us open and grow a new retail location from the ground up. As Store Manager, you’ll partner with ownership in the setup and launch of our new paint store, helping to shape operations, layout, inventory, and team culture in alignment with our mission and values. Once launched, you’ll oversee daily operations and lead a small team. Your paint product knowledge and leadership will be key to delivering top-tier customer service and building a loyal customer base.

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with company leadership on the initial store setup, inventory selection, and launch strategy
- Train and support a small team, fostering company culture and a productive work environment
- Provide expert advice on paint products, color matching, application techniques, and surface preparation
- Manage store KPIs such as sales targets, inventory accuracy, shrink, and customer satisfaction
- Utilize our POS and inventory management system, Epicor Biztrack, to process transactions, manage inventory, and run reports
- Ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment
- Place product orders, receive and restock inventory
- Open and close the store, handle cash, and maintain accurate daily reports
- Build lasting relationships with contractors, designers, and homeowners
Qualifications
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in United States without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
- 3+ years of experience managing teams in a retail or service setting
- 3+ years of experience in the paint industry (retail or field), with deep product knowledge
- Proven ability to track, analyze, and act on key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Experience using point-of-sale (POS) and inventory software; familiarity with Epicor Biztrack a strong plus
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Reliable, organized, and self-motivated
- Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Must have experience with color matching tools or tinting machines
- Bilingual in English & Spanish is a plus.
$33 - $40 an hour
