As an Associate Manager on our Commercial Strategy & Operations team, you will drive projects and programs that shape how biopharma companies reach and serve healthcare customers. You’ll apply your consulting experience—whether in management consulting, customer engagement, or sales-force operations—to projects such as:
Customer engagement strategy and omnichannel planning
Field force design, sizing, and deployment
Launch and go-to-market readiness
Segmentation, targeting, and territory optimization
Commercial process and operating model improvement
You’ll translate research and analysis into clear, actionable recommendations, mentor junior consultants, and cultivate strong client relationships.
We'll Trust you to:
- Own workstreams within multi-disciplinary client projects—framing problems, structuring analyses, and delivering high-quality outputs on time and budget.
- Lead development of field force optimization strategies, including deployment models, role design, and omnichannel integration. Also, track market trends and help shape future-looking models, considering technological interventions like GenAI
- Partner with cross-functional client teams (Marketing, Market Access, Medical Affairs) to shape go-to-market strategies, leveraging analytics, market insights, and customer segmentation.
- Drive strategic problem-solving engagements, synthesizing complex market dynamics, stakeholder feedback, and healthcare trends to deliver actionable
- Synthesize insights from market research, performance data, and stakeholder interviews to inform commercial decisions.
- Develop client-ready deliverables—story-focused slide decks, operating models, roadmaps, and workshop materials.
- Guide and coach analysts and consultants, fostering their growth and ensuring consistent quality.
- Support business development by shaping proposals, scoping new engagements, and identifying follow-on opportunities.
- Champion best practices in customer engagement, bringing fresh perspectives on AI-enabled tools and emerging commercial models.
You'll need to have:
- At least 4+ years in life-sciences management consulting, commercial excellence, sales operations, or a related field.
- Proven experience supporting or leading projects that improve customer engagement, field effectiveness, or commercial processes.
- Working knowledge of pharma/biotech commercial functions (sales, marketing, access) and the product-lifecycle landscape.
- Strong strategic thinking, quantitative acumen, and storytelling skills; advanced Excel & PowerPoint proficiency.
- Comfort collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting to senior stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MPH, MS) a plus.
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Beghou, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $130,000 to $180,000.
