Ideal candidates for the Consultant role demonstrate leadership potential, integrity, problem-solving skills, and the communication skills necessary to work with clients and people at all levels of our firm.
We'll Trust you to:
- Develop code to ingest, clean, and process life sciences client data, both autonomously and with team members.
- Build/run/troubleshoot data processes, create and maintain reports and processes, perform analyses, ensure data accuracy, and develop client projects and deliverables, such as advanced dashboards and slide decks, while meeting deadlines for clients.
- Synthesize results and communicate with clients regarding data processing and ongoing projects, ensuring consistent expectations of deliverables.
- Serve as a point of contact for clients on ongoing projects, as well as a liaison between the client and consulting team; lead client sub-teams to ensure consistent expectations and timely, error-free delivery.
- Guide, train, and oversee the work of Associate Consultants.
- Independently complete more advanced analytical work.
- Gain confidence working in a collaborative environment across team, organization, and client.
- Perform other project work based on client needs and internal team requests.
You'll need to have:
- A PhD or a Bachelor's or Master's degree with a minimum of 3 years’ relevant professional experience. While we do not specify a list of majors, we seek candidates who demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative aptitude, in addition to an interest and aptitude for coding, through coursework or other experience.
- Strong academic track record
- Ability to travel up to 10%
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office products, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Ability to learn quickly and demonstrate active listening skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively with others and adapt quickly
- Ability to effectively lead small groups
- Basic coding skills (Python, SAS, SQL, etc.); knowledge of data visualization software, such as Tableau or Power BI, preferred.
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Beghou, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $90,000 to $110,000.
