Purpose of Job
The purpose of this role is to support the successful delivery of customized Mainsail™ solutions by bridging client requirements with technical implementation. As a Software Developer in the Delivery team, you will contribute to the design, configuration, and testing of system components that address unique client business needs. This involves working on UI customization, executing data integration tasks, and assisting in troubleshooting and resolving defects to ensure smooth project execution. The role requires close collaboration with consultants and senior developers to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Ultimately, the position exists to ensure reliable, high-quality software delivery that drives measurable value for clients while adhering to best practices and organisational standards
We'll trust you to:
- Lead module-level UI configuration using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript across Mainsail™ components
- Independently write, test, and optimize SQL queries to support data flows and reporting layers
- Troubleshoot UI and data issues across integrated modules; drive root cause analysis
- Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable delivery solutions
- Review work delivered by Associate and Software Developers for quality and adherence to standards
- Contribute to delivery documentation, knowledge repositories, and reusable templates
- Collaborate with functional consultants and engineering teams to align technical design with business goals
You'll need to have:
- Strong proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3 with ability to build reusable UI components
- Intermediate to advanced JavaScript for configuring dynamic front-end behaviour
- Proficiency in SQL for transformation, validation, and optimization
- Exposure to C#/.NET backend logic and service behaviour is beneficial for functional alignment and debugging
- Ability to understand system configurations and platform boundaries
- Ownership mindset and accountability for timelines and quality
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Mentorship and review of junior team members’ work
