Belkins is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Legal Counsel. As a member of our legal department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the company's compliance with legal regulations and providing support in various legal matters. This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth and professional development in the field of law & legal operations.

As a Legal Counsel, you will:

    • Review, draft, and negotiate contracts with clients, vendors, and partners, ensuring that all legal requirements are met and risks are mitigated;
    • Assist in ensuring the company's operations comply with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards;
    • Support in managing intellectual property matters, including trademarks, copyrights, patents, and trade secrets.
    • Assist in resolving disputes with the clients (refunds, chargebacks, non-payment).
    • Conduct research on legal issues relevant to the company's operations, and provide analysis and recommendation;
    • Provide general administrative and research support to activities of the legal team, automatize documents, and contribute to the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the legal team.

You will definitely be successful in this role if you:

    • Hold a Master’s Degree in Law;
    • Have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a commercial in-house environment or a reputable law firm;
    • Are fluent (B2+) in both written and oral English, and proficiency in Ukrainian is essential;
    • Have experience with the legal environments of the USA and the EU;
    • Possess an analytical mindset with strong research and problem-solving skills;
    • Are capable of working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively;
    • Can take ownership of specific agreements/tasks;
    • Demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and oral.
