Core to our ability to deliver on our customer process, the ability to coordinate our teams – Market Management, Carrier Management, Fleet Management, Pro Recruitment, Pro Support – and deploy them efficiently to help our customers move. Growing the business requires the Operations team to understand how to coordinate supply and demand acquisition, implement training and performance management processes, and ultimately create an experience that retains high quality Pros.
In this role, you will be tasked with leading a large portion of Bellhop’s business and be directly responsible for the financial performance and quality of your region. The role will require working cross functionally across Marketing, Move Support, Product, and Sales to be successful. An ideal candidate has had experience leading large teams at fast paced, consumer focused businesses and understands how to both lead others and execute individually. They should also have excellent written and verbal communication and be willing to understand the ins-and-outs of moving.
WHAT YOU WILL OWN:
- Responsible for the performance of assigned markets as defined by executed revenue, contribution margin, and quality ratings
- Ensure that market teams maintain strong pro and driver relationships and deliver on market OKRs
- Support VP of Market Operations and Biz Ops team on select cross-market projects
- Optimize Pro assignment and fulfillment including scheduling, route planning, and delivery efficiency
- Maximize Bellhop-managed truck utilization
- Launch new markets and partnerships as needed
- Ensure team skills, organization, training, and quality
