This is where you come in…

We are looking for a Data Engineer to develop, maintain, test and evaluate data solutions in support of business goals.

Responsibilities:

    • In collaboration with engineering leadership:
    • Architect, build and maintain scalable automated data pipelines from the ground up. Be the company’s expert of stitching and calibrating data across various data sources.
    • Work with product and engineering teams to understand and validate instrumentation and data flow.
    • Develop data set processes for data modeling, mining and production.
    • Integrate new data management technologies and software engineering tools into existing structures.
    • Understand, monitor, QA, translate, collaborate with business teams to ensure ongoing data quality.

Qualifications:

    • Experience working in Python or Scala
    • Proficiency in querying, manipulating and analyzing large data sets using SQL or SQL-like languages.
    • Familiarity with a common Big Data processing framework (e.g., Apache Spark, Hadoop, etc.)
    • Familiarity with concepts relating to ETL and Data Warehousing
    • Experience with managed data engineering services from public cloud providers is a plus (e.g., AWS Glue, Google Cloud Dataproc, etc.)
    • Experience with Tableau is a plus
