Trading Data Fabric (TDF) builds and manages a data platform that enables Belvedere to capture and stream high-volume, high-quality data and utilize cloud-scale compute for quant research and trading. We manage pipelines that capture real-time market data, trading actions, and complex internal valuation and position data. These stream into real-time trading engines and our data warehouse for historical analysis.
Our Software Engineers are responsible for system development, pipeline implementation, data warehouse architecture, data quality automation, and operational oversight. They participate in all aspects of our software development lifecycle, from design to testing to deployment, and have both a love of technology and an interest in the financial markets.

What you'll do
- Become a key contributor defining the data platform and services that enable leaders across the firm to evaluate trading performance and make critical decisions
- Design, implement, and refine high-volume data systems from ingestion through transformation and to warehouses, dashboards, and downstream consumers
- Balance optimization, simplicity, and cost efficiency to create reliable and extendable systems
- Partner with team members and data platform customers to guide roadmap and strategy
- Identify opportunities to expand our system and leverage new technologies
- Communicate with project managers and team leadership to develop work strategies and estimates
- Work in a collaborative team environment encouraging constant learning and innovation from all levels of the company to build the future of technology and finance
- Participate in our in-house learning and development curriculum via peer-led lectures to obtain knowledge about the fundamentals of trading and our proprietary trading systems
What you'll need
- C++ REQUIRED
- Polyglot – Experience with all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle, comfortable learning and working in multiple languages. Preferred understanding especially in Java, C#, and Python.
- Detail Oriented – Ability to dive deep into data storage technologies and business-specific data models to fully understand the nature of a problem, its volumes, and natural variability
- Performance Minded – Ability to optimize and analyze the impact of scaling a process over petabytes of data
- Owner Mindset – Thrive in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment
- Intellectual curiosity and passion – Desire to continuously learn in a team environment and solve challenging problems
