Bento Box is looking for experienced CG Artists for an animated series! Advanced proficiency in Maya is required and advanced knowledge in Houdini a plus.
We are looking to hire Georgia (USA) residents only, or those willing to relocate immediately.
The ideal candidate is deadline-driven and able to handle quick turnarounds. Must be comfortable working in a collaborative environment and willing to take and follow direction. Attention to detail as well as a firm understanding of file management and organization are all highly regarded. Must be good communicators, as engaging with co-workers and directors is an integral part of this role. We are looking for someone who is passionate, creative, motivated, and shares our love of animation and cartoons.
Responsibilities:
- Working within already set up and animated files to implement character animation retakes per director’s instruction
- Opportunities to create original character animation based off client requests
- Understanding of camera, lighting, modeling and surfacing in Maya and Houdini
- Use of strongly developed critical eye with attention to detail and continuity
- Applicants must be able to follow the schedule set by the production team
- Effectively execute all necessary assigned tasks while under tight production schedule deadlines
Qualifications:
- Extensive proficiency in Maya software is required
- Advanced knowledge in Houdini software is a plus
- 3+ years of professional studio experience
- Online portfolio/demo reel required when applying
- Strong portfolio of broadcast level character animation preferred
- Understanding of series animation production pipeline
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work, take notes, and receive constructive criticism within a team-oriented environment
- Georgia resident or willing to relocate immediately
