Bento Box Animation Studios Atlanta is hiring!
We are bustling with new and on-going productions, and looking for a superstar 2D FX Animator for the production of broadcast television and online animated series. We are looking to hire Georgia (USA) residents only, or those willing to relocate immediately.
Responsibilities:
- Reports to Animation Director daily for assignment direction and notes
- Read scripts and be familiar with story and effects needs such as rain, wind, fire, lightning, etc.
- Daily check in with Production Coordinator for assignments
- Responsible for completing assignments on schedule
- Maintain quality and continuity of designs within the show
- Implement all executive notes
- Reference storyboard for final designs to make sure storyboard needs are met
- Strive for excellent communication within team
Qualifications:
- Georgia resident or willing to relocate immediately
- 2+ years of experience as an Effects Animator in episodic series television
- Strong proficiency in Photoshop and Toon Boom Harmony a must
- Must have strong drawing and highly developed storytelling skills
- Online portfolio submission is required
- Applicants will be required to take an animation test to ensure that they have the necessary understanding of the software, timing, and technical savvy needed for the position
- Comfortable working digitally on a Cintiq
- Must be able to work within a fast paced series production schedule
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Must be able to adapt to changes easily within a highly dynamic environment
- Attention to detail is critical
- Ability to quickly adapt to different drawing styles
