Position: IT Service Management/Configuration Management SME
·  Key Role:
Maintain smooth operation of local area, worldwide, and virtual private networks (VPNs) by planning, evaluating, and coordinating the installation or reconfiguration of hardware and software elements of data or voice communication network. Maintain technical expertise in all areas of networks, computer hardware and software interconnection, and interfacing, including routers, multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, and gateways. Propose solutions to management to ensure all communications requirements are based on future needs and current usage, including configuring such solutions to optimize cost savings, as needed. Prepare or ensure the appropriate network documentation exists, including operational instructions. Provide regular monitoring and network analysis regarding short- and long-range planning for in-house systems and design network or portions of the network that include selection of hardware and software packages, as needed. Contribute to the development of new principles and concepts and work on unusually complex technical problems and provide highly innovative and ingenious solutions. Apply capability knowledge and expertise in client delivery and take a leadership role in generating intellectual capital in order to help the firm grow its business.

Basic Qualifications:
-5 years of experience in working with existing Army configuration processes
-Experience with analyzing and implementing a configuration management process for a large enterprise
-Experience with analyzing the development of a configuration management transition plan that can clearly communicate a proposed solution
-Experience in working with and architecting using enterprise configuration management tools
-Experience with an enterprise configuration management solution for an enterprise that contains services that are both hosted on premise and in a Cloud solution, including a hybrid environment
-Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree
-ITIL Intermediate Certification or above
·  Additional Qualifications:
-Project Management (PMP), FEAC Green Belt, MCSE:  Cloud Platform and Infrastructure, MCSA: Windows Server 2016, or CCNA Routing and Switching Certification
