As a Content Developer, your role is to design and develop high-quality employee and customer training.  You will develop learning assets that enable customers to minimize user adoption risks and to achieve superior adoption of all BLI products and services.  You will apply aspects of Adult Learning strategies and BLI Education Services best practices to address the needs of Customers. You will also collaborate with the lead Learning Experience Designer and follow the Education Services work stream of customer programs.

Responsibilities:

    • Work within a multiple stakeholder environment to support the design and development of Education Services learning content. 
    • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to transfer knowledge.
    • Understand learning needs for performance-based learning, through role/task analysis and change impact assessments.
    • Use BLI best practices and content to design high quality, standard and custom end-user product training, applying adult learning strategies to address target audience needs.
    • Support development learning content based on use cases and scenarios as defined by LXDs and use style guides to ensure consistency and quality.
    • Perform general project management tasks.
    • Upload, test, and troubleshoot training content for all functional areas in the LMS.
    • Contribute to execution of Education Services Learning Programs.
    • Set up and support learning environment defined by Learning Experience Designers.
    • Assess users’ readiness at go-live (i.e. alpha and beta testing) and report to Learning Experience Designer or Manager.
    • Leverage customer and end-user feedback to improve materials and delivery.
    • Complete other training project tasks as assigned.
    • Use word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software to create reports and presentations.

Qualifications:

    • Education Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Instructional Design, Education, Adult Learning/Training, Graphic Arts, or other related educational fields) and relevant curriculum design experience required, or a combination of education and experience.
    • Certifications or relevant experience in design programs (Articulate, Camtasia, Captivate, etc.) 
    • Advanced computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, etc.)
    • Background in using methodologies like ADDIE, Kirkpatrick or Gagne to design and measure training effectiveness.
    • Great organizational and project management skills 
    • Excellent communication skills with a customer-oriented focus.

    • Familiarity with LMS systems required, Absorb preferred
    • Experience working in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, research, academic environment preferred.
