A Better opportunity:

The Real Estate Team at Better is responsible for identifying ways to simplify the home buying journey by creating seamless real estate agent interaction and providing customer support for home discovery. We are a new team with Better and are looking for entrepreneurs with strong operational capabilities, business acumen and a “get stuff done” mentality.

As part of the team, you’ll be responsible for managing the day-to-day closing operations, including but not limited to, working on Profit & Loss of company transactions, tracking payments to and from the company, and working closely with the Accounting team. In this role, you will own the process of preparing and auditing the P&L reports and tracking the inflow of agents’ commission for inhouse agents and any price adjustments of a deal. We're seeking someone enthusiastic about learning new technology and has a keen interest in driving efficiency with high accuracy. Strong knowledge of working with CRM and collaborative tools will be critical to success here.

Responsibilities will include:

• Reporting and day to day data assistance across different verticals
• Provide insights by analyzing raw data and accordingly automate business processes
• Work on analytics projects and build dashboards on looker
• Run quality checks to look for ways to improve the ongoing processes
• Maintain/update P&L by gathering/exporting data from multiple sources
• Collaborate with the Accounting team to determine the revenue earned and/or any discrepancies in it


About you:

• Strong bias-to-action, practicality and effectiveness
• Must have 1 - 2 years of experience in Reporting and Analytics with hands-on knowledge of Advanced Google sheets (Google App Script is a plus)
• You are an expert in SQL(Mandatory Skill)
• You have experience using BI visualization tools (i.e. Looker, Tableau, Google Data Studio)
• Advanced analytical skills with an enhanced background and proficiency in Microsoft Office and G-Suite
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality
• Strong communication, organization, problem solving and time management skills.
