A Better Opportunity
The Senior Paid Media Manager is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing the development, execution, and optimization of multi-channel paid media campaigns that drive measurable business growth. This individual will manage agency partners and direct cross-functional teammates, within a matrixed org structure, across brand, product, analytics, and finance to ensure marketing investment effectiveness and alignment with business goals.
Responsibilities
- Strategy & Execution: Lead the strategy, planning, and execution of integrated paid media campaigns across digital platforms including search, display, social,video, affiliate, and emerging channels.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a high-performing team or external agency partners; foster development and set clear performance expectations.
- Budget Oversight: Own the paid media budget across channels and regions; ensure efficient media spend aligned with ROI targets.
- Performance Analytics: Partner with data and analytics teams to develop performance dashboards, establish KPIs, and drive insights-based optimizations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with creative, product, and lifecycle teams to align messaging and funnel performance across paid touchpoints.
- Innovation & Testing: Drive a culture of continuous experimentation; test new platforms, formats, and partners to expand reach and performance.
- Reporting & Communication: Provide regular updates to executive leadership on campaign performance, key learnings, and investment recommendations.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in performance marketing, with deep expertise in paid media strategy, execution, and optimization with at least 5 years directly managing Google Search, YouTube, and Meta campaigns.
- Proficiency with Google Ads Manager, Meta Ads Manager, and relevant analytics and tracking tools.
- Experience managing large budgets (>$1mm/month) and scaling campaigns across the full marketing funnel.
- Experience managing direct reports and/or agency relationships.
- Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of using data to drive media decisions.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of attribution modeling, incrementality testing, and media mix modeling a plus.
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment preferred.
$160,000 - $185,000 a year
