Head of Outreach

The Head of Outreach leads BetterDoctor’s outreach team to gather valuable information from healthcare providers across the country. The Head of Outreach directs the outreach team to execute client campaign calendars on time, accurately and within budget. They will lead overall outreach strategy, and drive template design, campaign definition, performance reporting and tracking, data quality and support.

Strong candidates will have experience with email marketing, campaign management, content strategy, user research, an eye for design, serious attention to detail, and urge to drive decisions with data. The BetterDoctor Head of Outreach will have a runway for growth and a bridge to the operational capabilities of our product management and engineering teams, while championing client and user needs in the organization.

Your major responsibilities:

    • Campaign Leadership
    • Create and own outreach strategy and direction
    • Manage team to ensure proper execution of client outreach calendars (Timing, Templates, etc)
    • Build play-books and processes to ensure operational efficiency and redundancy
    • Partner with Account teams to lead the successful on-boarding of new clients
    • Work closely with Sales teams to assist RFPs and the sales cycle
    • Drive QA efforts, while acting as the primary point of resolution for critical issues

    • Performance Marketing
    • Drive conversion rate increases by method (fax, email, phone, post mail), quarter on quarter
    • Own and optimize outreach campaigns, including tool selection,  campaign materials (call scripts, post mail envelopes, etc.), and vendor partnerships
    • Lead and manage A/B/N testing efforts on campaigns
    • Work with Data Scientists to understand and optimize segmentation of campaigns

    • User Feedback + Support
    • Lead asset redesign in response to user feedback (including copywriting)
    • Own the provider experience, and dedicate yourself to improving it
    • Partner with design and engineering teams to stay ahead of schedule

What we expect from you

    • A Bachelor’s degree is required, marketing or communications strongly preferred
    • 5+ years of online marketing, outreach, or campaign management experience
    • 1+ years of experience leading and managing a team
    • Experience with QA and debugging issues, in short: strong investigatory nature
    • Strong experience with and a love of A/B/N testing
    • A technical background (exposure/ability to handle data sets, SQL, etc)
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
    • Experience collaborating closely with Product and Engineering teams
    • Bonus points for data visualization gurus (Looker lovers)
    • Managing and contracting with outside vendors (including BPOs)
    • Prior experience in health tech or communicating with providers a significant plus
