The Account Manager serves as the primary point of contact for clients. He/she is an advocate for our clients, collaborating with BetterDoctor internal teams on a daily basis to ensure that our customers are achieving their business objectives.  The Account Manager is critical to the success of BetterDoctor, as they ensure our clients have the best experience possible.

We're looking for experienced individuals who love working with people, have excellent communication skills, and are naturally organized to join our client services team. If you are looking to join an exciting health tech startup, this role may be for you!

Key Responsibilities

    • Be the main point of contact for weekly client calls, questions, reporting, and product requirements
    • Build resources and documentation necessary to deliver value to clients
    • Bring innovative ideas and problem solving skills to contribute to the improvement of internal documents, presentations and communication processes
    • Understand client business objectives and support them as their primary contact within BetterDoctor
    • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with clients, ensure they are trained and effectively using the product on a consistent basis in line with their defined objectives and strategy
    • Monitor and escalate support issues, as appropriate, to the appropriate team
    • Communicate product enhancements and new functionalities in a timely manner to allow the customer ample time to fully adopt

What we expect from you

    • Undergraduate degree
    • 2-5 years in account-management experience in healthcare, healthcare IT, or other software setting
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and to problem-solve both technical and human/interpersonal problems or to escalate as necessary either to customers or within the organization
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication, including on phone calls
    • Attention to detail and organization
    • Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% of the time
    • SQL skills, or appetite to learn
