We believe there are too many barriers to starting a recruiting business, and we’re designing tools and infrastructure to help our recruiters start, run, and scale an online recruiting business from anywhere in the world.

About the role
Betterleap’s core industry, recruiting, is complex. Content is critical to helping current and prospective customers understand best practices around hiring and working with independent recruiters.

In this role, you will be responsible for creating a variety of content types to support Betterleap’s go-to-market team (sales, marketing, and customer success). You'll be joining our team to craft messaging across all stages of the funnel. From product launches and early lifecycle to resurrecting churned users, you'll write content that stays true to our brand and moves the metrics.

You will:
• Create content at Betterleap in all of its forms, including: top-of-funnel blog posts, lead generation resources (in-depth guides, white papers, case studies), landing pages, marketing email campaigns, ad copy, product emails and notifications, product naming, social copy, FAQs for our users, and more
• Write clear, concise UX copy that drives education, action, and performance
• Coordinate with the design team to create accompanying visual assets for your content
• Review and refresh existing content to ensure all copy is accurate across all Betterleap
• Conduct research to create new content that educates and helps our users
• Help define our voice and create our starter style guidelines

What we’re looking for:
• 2-3 years of experience writing content for technology companies
• Ability to conduct research and fact-check, and describe technical information in a clear and concise way.
• An excitement to serve as a generalist for now—while searching for your future niche as Betterleap grows
• Prior experience publishing content to WordPress, writing with SEO in mind and experience in recruiting is a bonus
