RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Direct and in-direct customer management and planning – regional market analysis, customer management, execution against plan thru sales goals, forecasting and business development efforts.
    • Development of strategic account plans for assigned accounts to achieve brand growth targets while staying within trade spend guidelines.
    • Build annual sales plans for assigned customers to support brand sales and profit objectives.
    • Prepare, present and own the bottom-up sales planning process for assigned customers.
    • Grow existing business and gain new distribution in strategic accounts
    • Drive velocities by managing promotional process from the planning stage, to development to execution, ensuring all retailers timelines are met and following with post promotional analysis and ROI measurements.
    • Meet or exceed monthly sales goals and achieving quarterly KPI’s.
    • Establish and build strong relationship with key retailers within your region.
    • Effectively manage brokers, motivating and directing them to help achieve overall objectives and in-store execution, shelving, merchandising, pricing, promotional and sales objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

    • BA/BS required.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of demonstrated success in regional sales preferably in CPG Food Industry with Key Account and Distributor Management experience.
    • Ability to create and present consumer and customer centric sales data internally and to external clients, using Nielsen/IRI/Spins syndicated data.
    • Ability to work strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
    • Experience working cross functionally with marketing, customer service, supply chain, finance, and other functional groups.
    • Strong organization skills and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
    • Relentlessly driven, self-motivated and goal oriented.
    • Must be a self-starter and intellectually curious.
    • Comfortable with some ambiguity - as this is a new role.
    • Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills, to both internal and external audience.
