The Watermark Hotel is seeking a creative and strategic Marketing Manager to facilitate all digital marketing efforts for our premier hospitality destination and its distinctive outlets. This role will manage social media presence across multiple unique venues including The Watermark Hotel, Perch Putt (our 18-hole putt putt golf course), our award-winning restaurant Wren, and our newly opened Tokyo-inspired cocktail lounge.
We're looking for a creative storyteller who can capture the essence of each of our distinct venues while maintaining cohesive brand messaging. The successful candidate will be equally comfortable behind a camera capturing the perfect food shot as they are analyzing engagement metrics and developing strategic campaigns. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and can juggle multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
- Social Media Management
- Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies for hotel and all outlets across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
- Create engaging content campaigns that align with each venue's unique brand identity and target audience
- Manage daily social media operations including posting, engagement, and community management
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions across all platforms in a timely and professional manner
- Analyze and report social media performance metrics and adjust strategies to optimize engagement and reach
- Content Creation & Photography
- Conceptualize and produce high-quality visual and written content to increase engagement and drive inquiries
- Conduct basic photography sessions focusing on food and beverage items, function room setups, special events, and property features
- Utilize design platforms (particularly Canva) to create visually appealing graphics, promotional materials, and social media assets
- Maintain a consistent visual brand aesthetic across all digital touchpoints
- Website & Digital Asset Management
- Perform minor website updates including packages, menus, photos, and promotional content
- Ensure all digital assets are current, accurate, and optimized for user experience
- Coordinate with web development team for larger technical updates as needed
- Reputation Management
- Monitor and manage online reviews across Google, TripAdvisor, and Medallia platforms
- Respond professionally to guest feedback and work with operations teams to address concerns
- Develop strategies to encourage positive reviews and improve overall online reputation
- On-Site Marketing Initiatives
- Design and implement on-property marketing materials including signage and promotional displays
- Create and execute email marketing campaigns to support venue promotions and events
- Collaborate with operations teams to support special events and seasonal campaigns
Required Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of social media marketing experience
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry preferred (hotel, restaurant, resort, or similar)
- Proven track record managing business social media accounts with measurable results
- Technical Skills
- Proficiency with design, content management and email marketing platforms
- Basic photography skills with ability to conduct food, beverage, and event photography
- Strong understanding of Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn business platforms
