About this role:
The Account Executive (AE) identifies new customers and communicates Billfold’s value to live event and festival operators globally. The AE prospects, conducts discovery, proposes solutions, and closes new business. The AE is directly responsible for generating revenue for Billfold through new client acquisition. 

About You
- You have prior experience with live events and understand the challenges our clients face. 
- You possess a “get-it-done” attitude and hunger to overachieve when given a goal. 
- You have a desire to make an impact on a growing organization with your sales expertise. 

Roles and Responsibilities

    • Own and manage a pipeline of prospective clients ranging from festival operators to venue technology leads 
    • Manage the sales cycle from finding a client to securing the deal
    • Create and lead presentations to prospective clients
    • Lead price negotiations 
    • Source new sales opportunities through networking Keep regular contact with clients to understand and support their needs
    • Maintain sales pipeline and pipeline visibility
    • Maintain knowledge of Billfold’s products, pricing, and development roadmap

Qualifications

    • 3+ years of B2B sales, account management or similar function
    • Experience with Salesforce
    • Experience working in live events, ticketing or event tech
    • Outstanding work ethic and attention to detail
    • Excellent communication and sales skills
    • Strong critical thinking ability
    • Hospitality experience preferred, but not necessary 
    • Experienced with fast paced sales environments and driven regularly to exceed sales targets

Compensation

    • This role will pay a base salary of $75k-$90k and a variable of $60k-$75k.
    • Uncapped commissions
    • Performance incentives

Physical Requirements

    • Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
    • Must have the ability to walk short distances, pick up materials, and sit for extended periods.
