Responsibilities

    • Assist the Global Head of HRC/EDD in managing the Global High-Risk Client program and standard operating procedures.
    • Provide strategic support and insights on high-risk customer monitoring and other critical HRC/EDD initiatives.
    • Take ownership of the Global High-Risk Client program and standard operating procedures.
    • Implement and oversee the high-risk customer monitoring program.
    • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to enhance products and systems related to HRC/EDD.
    • Document global HRC/EDD requirements, including the global standard and compiling and maintaining the local requirements per country.
    • Partner with local MLROs to ensure localization where applicable.
    • Lead remediation projects related to HRC/EDD.
    • Serve as the primary stakeholder in the customer risk scoring methodology.
    • Stay current on global HRC/EDD standards such as FATF, as well as local requirements in regions where the company operates.
    • Oversee HRC/EDD project prioritization.
    • Monitor and manage metrics pertaining to HRC/EDD.
    • Oversee global escalation processes related to HRC/EDD.

Requirements

    • 8+ years of  EDD experience.
    • ACAMS, ACFCS or other industry leading certification. 
    • 4+ years of management experience.
    • 4+ years of experience managing the periodic reviews including the monitoring of high risk customers.
    • Knowledge and experience with global CDD/EDD requirements.
    • Knowledge and experience with implementing customer risk scoring frameworks.
    • Deep understanding of AML/CFT and sanctions risks.
    • Knowledge of global licensing requirements related to financial services and crypto related business activities.
    • Experience with complex beneficial ownership structures.
    • Excellent communication, analytical, logical thinking, problem solving, and writing skills.
    • Adaptable, open-minded, and comfortable to work in a fast-paced remote working environment.
