The purpose of the HR Officer role is to support all our people and culture activities, to engage employees and provide a great employee experience.
 
This role will assist in responding to queries from the team, providing advice and expertise and support the rollout of any P+C initiatives. There will be a particular focus on the administration of recruitment and onboarding activities and supporting learning & development initiatives. 

Key Responsibility Areas

    • The key responsibility areas (KRAs) are major outputs for which the position is responsible and not a comprehensive statement of all position activities. 
    • People Advisory and Admin
    • Be point of contact for employee queries (policy interpretation, benefit queries, performance queries etc)
    • Assist the HR Manager in working with the Finance team to ensure seamless Payroll processes
    • Assist with the HR updates of policies and procedures
    • Create employee letters and other employment and business documentation (such as templates, policies, contracts)
    • Coordinate updates of Position Descriptions, Bio-sketches and CVs on an ongoing basis in collaboration with management & Quality 
    • Recruitment and Onboarding
    • Coordinate recruitment activities (job ad creation, screening interviews, interview coordination, reference checks etc)
    • Create and assist in maintaining employee files
    • Support the management of recruitment software and HRIS
    • Assist with the administration of the Employee Referral Program
    • Support new employees and managers through the onboarding process
    • Ensure all new team members to 360biolabs have a great experience when they join
    • People and Culture Projects
    • Coordinate with key stakeholders in regard to learning & development initiatives (including preparation of training materials, managing online learning solutions)
    • Support the creation, roll-out, and support of P+C projects as required including Engagement, Recognition, Wellbeing, Development, etc.
    • Be an active member of the Social Committee
    • Advocate and be a role model for any P+C Initiatives
    • Teamwork and Relationships
    • Maintain high levels of communication with colleagues and productive relationships across all levels of the organisation
    • Maintain a professional external brand to any suppliers and providers
    • Be a feedback avenue for the team
    • Business Support / Company Projects
    • Support the coordination of relevant company forums and presentations and presentations
    • Support any company wide initiatives and assist with communication and roll out as required
    • Assist with and take ownership of internal company newsletters
    • Professional Development
    • Attend meetings and training associated with Human Resources and the work of 360biolabs and BioAgilytix

Key Selection Criteria

    • Tertiary education in a HR / business degree or relevant experience (Essential)
    • Experience / Knowledge / Attributes
    • Experience in a Recruitment or HR function (minimum, 3 years) (Preferable)
    • Understanding of Australian IR Legislation and Fair Work requirements (NES) and ability to manage ER queries (Preferable)
    • Excellent organisational and time-management skills (Essential)
    • Ability to work as part of a team (Essential)
    • Good communication skills and willingness to learn (Essential)
    • Self-starter in nature, positive and proactive (Essential)
    • Business acumen and maturity (including ability to maintain confidentiality) (Essential)
    • Excellent systems and desktop applications knowledge (Essential)
