These investment opportunities – difficult to identify without strong local knowledge – provide unmatched value and attractive pricing to their equity investors. The team’s CRE expertise spans the full spectrum from deal origination to development and commercial brokerage, giving them a critical edge in the competitive marketplace.
This role will report directly to the firm's Founders. This position provides an exciting opportunity to collaborate with the Real Estate Investment and Development teams to develop and execute strategic, data driven real estate decisions that optimize their commercial real estate portfolio. You will join a growing firm that is poised to take advantage of the exceptional economic and population growth across Texas. This position offers a flexible schedule, and can require long hours.
Job Responsibilities
- Acquisitions:
- Identify, source, and evaluate acquisition opportunities across Texas
- Target industrial, IOS, retail properties, and sizable land tracts—particularly along the I-35 corridor
- Support the entire transaction process, from due diligence and financing to closing
- Asset Management:
- Manage third-party property managers and leasing agents to optimize lease negotiations and portfolio value
- Collaborate with the property management team to develop timely financial reports for investors and lenders
- Prepare annual property budgets, forecasts, and CAM reconciliations
- Maintain regular, clear communication with internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in commercial real estate asset management and acquisitions within Texas
- Proven experience managing non-residential assets such as industrial, retail, and office properties
- Strong financial acumen with advanced skills in Excel and Argus
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Experience within a real estate fund structure is highly desirable
