Location:
This position is a hybrid position with a requirement to work in the client location near Richmond, VA. You must be eligible to work for any employer in the United States. Bixal does not provide visa sponsorship at this time.
What will you do:
Bixal is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for an upcoming opportunity. The Business Analyst will be part of a team to support the Department of Defense Commissary Web System. As an Analyst, you will be responsible for documenting and sharing knowledge in business process and system analysis, design, improvement, and implementation efforts or in translating business process needs into technical requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Uses available computer systems resources and personnel to carry out analysis to support management's quest for performance improvement to determine the most useful business solution.
- Implement a comprehensive management plan for each project and hold regular stakeholder meetings to keep all interested parties updated in project progress.
- Determine and document user requirements for business processes and abide by those requirements for future projects.
- Reviews and analyzes information, forecasts, methods, schedules, systems, processes and procedures.
- Provides expertise in, but not limited to, Configuration Management, Strategic Planning, Knowledge Management, Business Analysis and Technical Analysis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree, with at least 3+ years of experience working on technology related projects.
- Strong analytical skills using a combination of tools.
- Robust process mapping and stakeholder alignment skills.
- Working knowledge of Agile frameworks and human-centered design methods.
- Strong experience with Jira or similar collaboration tools, business process mapping software, and general business software, with an aptitude for learning new applications.
- Experience operating in and ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including communicating effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
Nice to Have:
- Experience working in technology consulting and/or government contracting environments.
- Experience with NIST 800-53, Impact Level 2, or ISO27100
$115,000 - $125,000 a year
