What will you do?
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless operations across our organization. Your responsibilities will include providing comprehensive IT support, managing ticket systems with a moderate workload, and assisting in the provisioning, troubleshooting, and re-provisioning of laptop computers, spanning both Windows and MacBook Pro platforms. Additionally, you'll be tasked with procuring and configuring secure software tailored to our business needs, while overseeing the tracking of hardware and software assets, even in remote and potentially international settings. As an integral part of our team, you'll also assist in administering the Office 365 and SharePoint systems, alongside Adobe product management. Your duties will extend to handling G-Suite administration, albeit to a limited extent. Moreover, you'll be responsible for addressing support tickets and escalating issues when necessary, including providing occasional support to our international offices outside regular hours. Responsibilities

    • Communicate effectively with users, providing timely updates on issue resolution to ensure a positive customer experience.
    • Oversee Office 365, including SharePoint, Azure Active Directory, G-Suite, and Adobe Products.
    • Assist in designing and documenting infrastructure and processes for efficient business operations management.
    • Procure, configure, and monitor secure software aligning with Bixal’s requirements.
    • Administer cloud/SaaS products, operating systems, and virtualization platforms.
    • Provide support for Mobile Device Management Frameworks (Intune & JAMF).
    • Collaborate with the security team to develop and enforce security policies and practices.
    • Offer technical support to end-users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
    • During New Hire Orientation, conduct end user technical training sessions.
    • Create documentation to enhance IT literacy and empower users across all technical proficiency levels.
    • Participate in IT projects and initiatives, contributing technical expertise to meet organizational objectives.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and IT stakeholders to identify requirements, implement solutions, transition to responsible functional areas, and address IT challenges.
    • Maintain inventory of IT assets using SnipeIT, including tracking hardware and software licenses.
    • Participate in client events and forums to positively represent the organization and develop and maintain relationships with the industry.
    • As appropriate, play an active role in new client acquisition by supporting business development initiatives to enhance and grow Bixal's business in each of the areas that it works.
    • Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.  

Qualifications

    • 3 years of relevant experience.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities, keen attention to detail, and capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
    • Proficient understanding of LDAP and AzureAD.
    • Expertise in Office365 administration and applications.
    • Basic understanding of SharePoint Online, with knowledge of its features and organizational structure.
    • Familiarity with MacOS and Windows Operating Systems (Linux familiarity is advantageous but not mandatory).
    • Fundamental knowledge of networking principles.
    • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting.
    • Experience in light scripting with a keen interest in process automation.

Nice To Haves

    • Experience with Atlassian’s Jira Software and ServiceDesk platforms.
    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
    • Familiarity with common challenges faced by small businesses, including onboarding, off boarding, and identity management processes, and the ability to coordinate these activities across different services effectively.
    • Experience of NIST and DISA standards related to Federal controls.
    • Ability to successfully undergo and pass a Public Trust security clearance.
    • Basic understanding of AWS, IAM, and various cloud service concepts.
    • Familiarity with PCI, FEDRamp compliance, or similar regulations.
    • Experience with Miro platform
    • Understanding of backup, testing, and recovery processes, particularly with Veeam.
$79,000 - $90,000 a year
