Your mission

We are looking for a Culture & Engagement Intern Brazil to join the People team at BlaBlaCar. Their mission is to understand, advise and support the business, engage our talents, through simple, scalable programs and tools. As Culture & Engagement Intern, your role entails organizing our events, bringing our inspirational culture to life, crafting internal communications and providing support to the Brazilian team. You will be reporting directly to the HR Country Specialist. 

Your responsibilities

    • Internal events:
    • Run our day-to-day engagement initiatives, bring innovative ideas to the table, support our company culture and create a positive team spirit.
    • Help on the conceptualization and organization of our corporate events, such as end-of-year celebrations; finding and selecting suppliers, ensuring their proper integration into our internal system.
    • Animate our internal communication channels & groups. Write, design and share news/announcements using: slack, email, screens etc.

    • People:
    • Help on running the Onboarding, offboarding, while being the key contact for the newbies in their first days, weeks, months. Promote our corporate culture and Internal Policies.

    • Office life:
    • Bring in new ideas to design and optimize administrative processes to make our office a meeting point for our employees

Your qualifications

    • Currently pursuing a degree (an internship agreement from your university is required)
    • Full working proficiency in English and Portuguese
    • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
    • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
    • Energetic, proactive & creative, you love bringing new ideas to the table
    • Fit with our BlaBlaPrinciples

    • Ability to take ownership, aligned with business priorities  
    • Nice to have: First relevant experience and/or strong interest in social & environmental topics, good eye for visuals (graphic/production skills) 
    • For internships: Having an internship agreement from your school or university is mandatory. We won’t be able to proceed with your application otherwise.
