What we are looking for: 
At Blackpanda, our Sales team is the engine that drives our financial success. We are seeking a qualified Sales Manager to drive exponential growth in Singapore and select ASEAN markets.

Our ideal Sales Manager has an in-depth knowledge of and experience with the tech, SaaS, and/or cybersecurity ecosystem of distributors and resellers in Singapore. They will be expected to manage the sales process, qualify leads, build relationships with our distributors, channel partners, and close deals. 

We expect an existing network of at least five to ten Managed Service Providers or Managed Security Service Providers that you can bring immediately to Blackpanda as potential partners for our flagship IR-1 SaaS platform solution.

The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving the growth of Blackpanda’s flagship product IR-1, as well as traditional Incident Response services, while helping to position Blackpanda as the premier cybersecurity DFIR team in Asia. Together with your Revenue team colleagues, you will be responsible for picking up the qualified leads and then collaborating with the relevant internal teams to draft and present successful sales proposals. The right candidate will possess excellent energy and enthusiasm with a desire to build business across a portfolio of accounts, as well as be capable of managing sales forecasts and projections.

Responsibilities and Duties

    • Closing new sales with new Managed Service Provider or Managed Security Security Providers with Blackpanda’s flagship IR-1 B2B enterprise SaaS product in Singapore, and select ASEAN markets.
    • Contributing to and executing a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets for Blackpanda's cybersecurity incident response services. 
    • Cultivating and managing relationships with key distributors, MSP/MSSP partners, and enterprise customers to drive business growth.
    • Collaborating with the global Revenue team to ensure alignment with overall company objectives and best practices.
    • Preparing and delivering engaging presentations to potential customers and partners, showcasing Blackpanda's unique value proposition.

Qualifications and Experience

    • At least 5 years of proven success in B2B enterprise sales via channels in Singapore and/or ASEAN within the cybersecurity, or other related industries.
    • Significant experience and familiarity with Distributor and/or Channels management either from working at a cybersecurity distributor or vendor.
    • An existing and solid network of at least five to ten MSP or MSSP in the rolodex that you can call for a meeting right now.
    • Exposure in Sales in the ASEAN markets (especially Indonesia and/or Malaysia) will be a strong advantage.
    • Strong understanding of the cybersecurity channels ecosystem, regulations, and business landscape.
    • Outstanding skills in public speaking and be able to confidently communicate and present in events and speaking sessions.

What We Offer

    • 40 days paid leave per year inclusive of public holidays, which may be taken at the discretion of the employee subject to compliance with our Leave Policy and the approval of their manager. 
    • Work From Anywhere policy allotment, allowing for work from alternate locations contingent upon coverage provided by teammates and approved by manager for 5 days per quarter.
    • Travel & entertainment to select ASEAN markets to engage with Distributors and MSP/MSSP partners, likely no more than one trip per quarter.
    • Monday through Thursday are required to be in-office; no scheduled internal meetings on Fridays, unless absolutely necessary.
    • Enrolment in the company’s comprehensive corporate health plan that includes a large direct billing network for medical and dental coverage.
    • Opportunities for inter-office travel, including a required annual week-long Tribe Onsite meet-up.
    • $5000 USD/year for professional training budget contingent on approval from manager with 12-month retention requirement
S$200,000 - S$200,000 a year
Base Salary: SGD $100,000 per annum
OTE: SGD $200,000 per annum. Sales commissions are uncapped.

Equity: ESOP baseline award proportional to the annual compensation for a total of 16,875 options with a strike price set at current Fair Market Value, with a 5-year vesting period inclusive of a 1-year cliff.
