THE ROLE
The Maintenance Lead will be responsible for overseeing, managing, and directing maintenance technicians to ensure all equipment, facility needs, and work orders are completed in a safe and timely manner. Works with area managers to ensure all plant maintenance needs are met.
YOUR TASKS
- Advanced knowledge of LOTO protocol
- Advanced knowledge of the safety practices around all maintenance related equipment, power, and hand tools.
- Advanced knowledge of safety practices and protocols in an automated industrial environment
- Knowledge of standard FDA protocol
- Willingness to take ownership of the shift, providing sound leadership and guidance to the team.
- Manage and educate technicians as needed for continued improvement within the department.
- Knowledge of advanced maintenance procedures, practices, and standards
- Comfortable in Automated FDA facility setting
- Advanced electrical aptitude, with ability to troubleshoot industrial automated controls
- Advanced knowledge of Allen Bradley/Rockwell controls systems including PLC, HMI, Drives and Networks
- Knowledge of natural gas fired burners, their controls and safety protocols.
- Automated packaging experience preferred
- Knowledge of pneumatic conveyance systems
- Advanced mechanical aptitude including welding and basic machining skills
- Advanced knowledge of electro-pneumatic controls
- Advanced root cause analysis and troubleshooting skills
- Technical manual and blueprint comprehension
- Involved in on-going production expansion, equipment start up and commissioning
- General knowledge of fire suppression and alarm systems
- Familiar with CMMS software to track both PM`s, spare parts, and daily activities. (MaintainX knowledge a plus)
- Monitor maintenance team moral, issues, and overall team wellbeing.
- Maintain constant thorough communication with the Maintenance Superintendent to ensure daily activities are done, safely, on time and efficiently.
- Computer skills, Excel, Word, Google Sheets (AutoCAD is a plus)
- Excellent time management skills
YOUR EXPERIENCES
- Highschool diploma or equivalent required
- Formal technical training in industrial maintenance field, Rockwell A/B controls
- 2+ years’ maintenance Supervision experience required
- Leadership skillset
