This opportunity is a part of Blink's Embedded practice which supports long-term opportunities with some of Blink’s largest client partners.
We are looking for a highly creative and detail-oriented Visual Designer whose primary role will be to support the creation of high-quality visuals and mockups, ensuring consistency and impactful visual storytelling across all design deliverables.
You will work on the UX design team, which includes UX designers, content management, and a UX developer, while also collaborating with Product Owners, Journey Managers, the research team, the data team, and others needing support within our department.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong eye for design who enjoys transforming complex concepts into clear, impactful visuals. If you are passionate about visual communication, storytelling, data visualization, and brand consistency, this role is perfect for you.

What you will be doing
- Visual Design and Mockup Support
- Create high-quality visuals and mockups to support design concepts and user journeys.
- Collaborate with the UX design team to visualize complex ideas and solutions.
- Maintain consistency with the design system and brand guidelines in all design deliverables.
- Polish and refine design visuals to enhance storytelling and impact.
- Presentation Support and Template Creation
- Design compelling presentations to effectively communicate design concepts and strategic narratives.
- Create templates to ensure visual consistency and brand alignment in all presentation materials.
- Data Visualization and Infographics
- Collaborate with the data team to visualize data in impactful and clear ways, including infographic-style presentations.
- Design compelling data visualizations that effectively communicate insights and narratives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration and Support
- Collaborate with UX Designers, Product Owners, Journey Managers, the research team, the data team, and cross-functional teams to understand project needs and deliver impactful visual solutions.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and design critiques to iterate and improve solutions.
- UX Support
- Support UX Designers in creating user journeys, scenarios, or other UX artifacts.
- Contribute to the design system by suggesting visual improvements or new components.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of design solutions.
Your background
- 2-5 years of experience in visual design or UX visual design.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint for creating impactful and visually consistent presentations.
- Proficiency in Figma, FigJam, Miro, or similar design tools.
- Strong visual storytelling and communication skills.
- Ability to create high-fidelity mockups and visual assets.
- Knowledge of design systems and component libraries.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Clear and articulate written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in data visualization or infographic design.
- Familiarity with brand guidelines and maintaining design consistency.
- Understanding of user-centered design and UX principles.
- Experience working within agile product development teams.
- Experience with Figma Slides is a bonus but not required.
- Interest in leveraging generative AI tools for design exploration and prototyping.
$130,000 - $160,000 a year
