About the role:
We are seeking an experienced CRM Implementation Consultant with strong project management experience and expertise in CRM implementation to lead the successful deployment and integration of our new CRM system (most likely Hubspot and Salesforce) and related technologies. This role will work closely with our implementation partner and internal teams to ensure data integrity, streamline AI workflows, and support operational efficiencies.
We are looking for an independent consultant to join us for one year on a part-time basis (approximately 20 hours a week). Ideally, you have implemented CRM systems for other not-for-profit organizations or charities.
As part of the recruitment process, you will be asked to submit a project or engagement proposal, which will be used to assess your approach & alignment, relevant experience, and budget with our organizational goals.
What you'll be responsible for:
- Leading the project management of CRM implementation and related system integrations, collaborating closely with our external implementation partner.
- Coordinating and overseeing all phases of the CRM rollout, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Managing data migration processes, including data scrubbing, cleansing, and analysis to ensure accuracy and usability.
- Developing, maintaining, and optimizing AI-driven workflows to enhance operational capabilities and service delivery.
- Acting as the primary liaison between the implementation partner and internal stakeholders to address technical needs and customization requests.
- Providing regular progress reports and insights to the VP, Finance & Operations.
- Identifying opportunities for system improvements and efficiencies that align with organizational goals.
What you bring to the table:
- You are an experienced software implementation specialist with a focus on CRM systems. Bonus points if you’ve worked with a variety of not-for-profit organizations and charities, and understand the unique operational needs of mission-driven teams.
- You are passionate about The Forum’s mission of supporting women entrepreneurs and are committed to contributing to its success.
- You understand Salesforce and Hubspot through and through.
- You are a strategic and operational professional with exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- You thrive in fast-paced environments, juggling multiple priorities and staying ahead of dynamic changes.
- You communicate clearly and professionally, both in writing and verbally, and excel at managing relationships with key stakeholders.
- You take full ownership of tasks and projects, providing regular updates and finding solutions to potential roadblocks.
- You are highly proficient with software such as Google Suite, and CRM systems, and you quickly adapt to new platforms.
- You bring a 'how can I help' attitude, are resourceful, and enjoy supporting a high-performing leadership team.
Engagement overview & budget
- We estimate that this transformation project will require part-time support, approximately 2–3 days per week (or around 20 hours weekly) for one year.
- Our approximate budget for this 1-year engagement is between $70,000–$80,000 CAD. As part of the recruitment process, you will be asked to submit a project or engagement proposal, which will be used to assess your approach and alignment, relevant experience, and proposed budget against our organizational goals. If selected, you will be joining The Forum as an independent consultant.
- Ideally, you are based in Vancouver or Toronto, as most of our team members are located in these two cities.
- We care deeply about a great team experience and value an inclusive culture that embraces diversity. We are committed to fair workplace practices and will consider all qualified candidates fairly.
