Our Brand & Creative team forms the creative core of bloomon. It is a team of 8 and is part of the Brand & Range team of 13 people. We’re responsible for our global brand strategy and creative output, and work with teams across the business in all markets to bring this to life.
Within the Brand & Creative team we’re a dynamic bunch of creative thinkers spanning Creative, Copy/Content, Social and PR. We use customer insight and creative flair to build uplifting and innovative brand experiences for our customers and constantly challenge ourselves to do better. We are one team with Range who develop and design our physical products ranges across categories - from bouquets to small gifts. We collaborate closely with Customer Insight to inform our thinking, with the Commercial team to ensure our plans resonate in their local markets, and with our Digital Product and Design teams on our website and app.
We design and create almost everything in-house and are passionate about who we are as a brand and how we show up in the world - and we love seeing bloomon grow, so we work at a fast pace, pouring joy and care into everything we do.
🛠️ The Role and Way of Working
We're seeking a Midweight Designer who lives and breathes digital marketing creativity for our in-house creative team. You'll craft scroll-stopping paid social campaigns including compelling video content, and continuously evolve one of our best channels – email marketing, through creative ideas and testing - whilst working with the Brand and Creative team on a wider variety of different design projects.
Reporting to the Creative Lead, you will work alongside creative designers, copywriters, and production to help bring beautiful, thoughtful ideas to life that delight our customers. We’re looking for someone who is forward-thinking, curious to learn and expand their knowledge and skill sets, and excited by the meaningful impact their work can have. The team works closely and collaboratively with the brand team to shape brand storytelling and deliver outstanding content and experiences that set us apart. We bring together customer insight, business intelligence, and creative flair to build a compelling brand experience across content, products, and services that unlocks customer acquisition and retention.
⚙️ What you'll be doing:
- Working with the wider design and copy team to create both new, original work and producing templated assets for all digital and offline channels. Digitally you’ll work on emails, digital marketing, video content creation, paid social advertising and more, and in Print you will work on elements from packaging, our bouquet care booklets, marketing inserts to one-off activations and creative collateral
- Working alongside our copywriters and other creatives you’ll help to create content for our website and app
- Contributing to creative ideas for seasonal shoots and campaigns, across both assets, designs and paid/organic social content
- Working alongside the Lead Creatives on aspects of creative planning, shoot execution on-set including helping create video content, and creative rollout for the brand across all of our channels
- Constantly striving for best-in-class designs and keeping up to date with the latest trends on constantly evolving channels
- Developing a deep understanding of our customers and helping drive their engagement with our brand through beautiful, thoughtful designs
- Understanding and interpreting briefs to help both internal and external functions deliver impactful work
- Contributing to the continual growth and improvement of our brand identity by sharing ideas and suggesting creative solutions, taking part in inspirational shares and concepting sessions.

✅ You will have:
- 2/3+ years of experience either in-house creative team or in a creative agency with a portfolio or work for e-commerce or D2C brands with relevant examples of work for this role.
- A design-related degree and commercial experience.
- Experience delivering work independently and as part of a team to stakeholders within a business.
- Experience in Adobe Creative Suite Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Figma and After Effects/Premiere.
- Able to design and execute across digital and print (and be able to artwork for print).
- Able to create, animate and edit video footage, graphics and audio.
