(Sr.) Communication Specialist

Blue Bottle Coffee Korea is looking for a passionate and seasoned Communication Specialist to join our Korea Brand team. As the Communication Specialist, you will craft, execute, and sustain communication strategies for Blue Bottle. This role requires a strategic mind that can create meaningful communication strategy/campaigns and the ability to work in a fast-changing, highly competitive media/ social media landscape.
Reporting into the Brand Marketing Manager of Korea, you will work collaboratively with local and global team members. This is a hands-on role where you will help develop and deliver our story and to give us a competitive advantage in the marketplace.

You will :

    • [Integrated Marketing Communications Management]
    • Manage the concept-to-launch execution of some new cafe, product launches and ensure that campaigns are cohesive, on time, and drive intended business results
    • Manage seasonal and holiday campaigns, coordinating work across teams, managing timelines, and ensuring work is executed successfully against business objective
    • Develop stories and manage campaigns end-to-end (strategize, plan, launch, analyze performance, manage feedback)
    • Align with leadership for the integrated marketing plans while ensuring consistent branding and messaging

    • [Contents Development & Social Media Management]
    • Manage our social media accounts and the create necessary local content
    • Craft everything from executive messaging to consumer facing materials, press releases, social contents, and everything in between
    • Build and maintain relationships with key journalists, social media press and different kinds of influencers, as well as the ability to pitch and secure coverage for stories
    • Assist with content generation, working with internal teams to ensure all written communication and imagery is consistent and in line with key brand message and social brand strategy

    • [Offline Campaigns & Marketing Activations]
    • Ignite our communities with local marketing events/ new cafe openings, campaigns, and programs that drive acquisition, retention, and engagement
    • Support our ‘new cafe openings’ by creating community outreach plans and drive engagement across different channels
    • Support special projects related to direct sales channel activation, community engagement and outreach

You are :

You have :

    • 6+ years of experience in-house or at an agency
    • Prior experience in FMCG and/or brand-led retail businesses (F&B industry is a plus!)
    • A deep understanding of the Korea media landscape
    • Fluency in social media and marketing
    • A drive to create engaging, thoughtful, and bold work - happily obsessing over every detail while always moving work forward
    • Proficient Korean & English written and verbal communication skills
    • A keen eye for storytelling, contents development, photography, and videography
    • A deep love and respect of delicious coffee, food and amazing guest experiences
