About the Role
The Senior People Operations Coordinator at Blue Bottle will be responsible for supporting the operations of the People Team in a hybrid remote and in-office work setup. This role includes overseeing processes and programs related to employee recruitment, retention, and overall well-being. Duties involve addressing employee inquiries or issues, as well as assisting with employment, compensation, and benefits matters. Technical support is provided for our HRIS and timekeeping system, UKG Kronos, and administrative tasks are carried out to ensure proper maintenance of team member profiles and documents. Focus is placed on developing strategies for employee engagement and effective management. Additionally, this role involves providing administrative support to ensure accurate upkeep of employee records and compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate excels in a collaborative team environment and is committed to achieving positive outcomes.

You will:

    • Assist with day-to-day HR operations tasks, including employee onboarding, offboarding, and maintenance of employee records.
    • Audit employee files, including I-9 and E-Verify, update/complete information as necessary to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local legislation.
    • Process employment-related transactions and support employee-initiated information updates in all People-related systems such as HRIS/Payroll, Google Suite, phone & e-mail list, etc.  Verify accuracy.
    • Collaborate with various teams to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
    • Provide administrative support for HR projects, including data analysis and reporting.
    • Prepare weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual data reports as needed including censuses for system integrations, local/state/federal required reporting.
    • Respond to correspondence from external entities, financial institutions and State/Federal Agencies in a timely manner. 
    • Provide cross-functional People Team support across employee onboarding, benefits, policy & compliance, technology and strategic initiatives as needed.

You have:

    • 1-3 years of experience in Human Resources and working with UKG Kronos, Google Suite, and MS Office preferred
    • An analytical mindset, meticulous organization, and proactive ability to complete tasks in a timely manner 
    • The ability to multitask, prioritize tasks/projects, and experience creating people analytics reports
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and processing the entire employee lifecycle changes in UKG Kronos system 
    • Broad knowledge and understanding of US employment laws and benefits
    • Experience working in a high-volume retail, food and beverage, hospitality or similar environment
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a collaborative mentality

    • This position has a salary range of $32-$41/hr. This salary is a good-faith estimate for this position. The final salary offer will be determined after reviewing relevant factors, which include a candidate's qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
