About the Role
As the E-commerce Site Coordinator, you will play a key role in the successful operation of Blue Bottle Coffee’s DTC eCommerce business. You will be responsible for seamlessly delivering unforgettable coffee experiences to our at-home guests, working closely with supply chain, product innovation, and engineering teams to set up and launch new merchandise and coffee products on our site. You will also be responsible for supporting weekly business tracking and insights gathering to support the long-term business thrive. We’re looking for a detail-oriented individual who enjoys working with systems & tools.  You are passionate about the guest experience and obsess over improving the shopping experience for our guests. You are comfortable reviewing sales data and leveraging insights to drive our onsite merchandising strategy, in service of creating an unparalleled onsite shopping experience. You’re driven by performance, progress, and achievement against big goals, and you’re uniquely motivated by getting Blue Bottle’s freshly roasted, responsibly sourced, peak-deliciousness coffee, mugs, and brew tools into more and more homes.

This is a remote-based position with a requirement for employees to be based in one of the following seven metropolitan areas, with a strong preference for the California market:

You will:

    • Own Bluebottlecoffee.com site merchandising activities. You will be responsible for managing the look and feel of the ecommerce site, ensuring the experience is aligned with Brand & Ecommerce KPIs. 
    • Own the timely launch of products and seasonal campaigns on the E-Commerce site. Partner closely with product, supply chain, marketing, technology, and fulfillment teams to launch products. Define and measure the success of product launches. 
    • Support weekly sales reporting and results sharing with cross-functionals, monitoring key performance indicators to evaluate the ‘health’ of the eCommerce business.
    • Support the creative briefing for regular content refreshes for the Homepage and PLPs to ensure alignment with business goals.

You are:

    • A self-starter with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment 
    • Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to prioritize while not letting anything drop.
    • An analytical thinker. You are able to review sales data and use that to optimize the site experience 
    • Enjoy working with systems/tools. You will be spending a lot of time in ecommerce content management system to bring the experience to life.
    • Excited to work in a collaborative team environment and are motivated to ask questions.
    • Clear and effective communicator in both conversation and written word.
    • Serious about your work but don’t take yourself too seriously!

You have:

    • A bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years experience in consumer technology, retail/cafes or ecommerce business in functions such as digital merchandising, marketing, business operations, and product management, or experience working in strategy functions such as corporate finance.
    • Strong project management skills with a proven track record of delivering high-quality work under tight timelines.
    • An innate ability and desire to create strong relationships, influence others, and collaborate at all levels of the organization.
    • Bonus: Experience with Website CMS (Content management system) such as Sanity/Shopify.
    • A profound love of coffee—while not required, it will make your role significantly more delicious!

A few benefits we offer:

    • This position has a salary range of $58,500-$75,000 annually. This salary is a good-faith estimate for this position. The final salary offer will be determined after reviewing relevant factors, which include a candidate's qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
