About the Role
As Blue Bottle continues to write a new chapter to the traditions of coffee and hospitality, our Total Rewards Specialist will play a key role in supporting our exceptional growth. This role will be responsible for supporting our Total Rewards programs by validating, refreshing, and administering a full range of Total Rewards programs. In addition, as part of the Total Rewards and People team, this role will have the opportunity to contribute to broader team initiatives as we scale the function.

This is a remote-based position with a requirement for employees to be based in one of the following seven metropolitan areas:

You will:

    • Assist in the administration of global compensation programs including market data reviews, annual merit cycle, and various incentive plans
    • Contribute to the development of Total Rewards policies and procedures ensuring organized and scalable systems are in place 
    • Partner with Sr. Manager, Global Compensation to provide recommendations for grading and leveling of positions by analyzing external market data and internal compensation information
    • Ensure that job architecture including job grades, positions, ranges, and job descriptions are accurately managed in the HRIS system proactively ensuring data integrity
    • Provide technical and analytical contributions while gaining exposure and building expertise in compensation and benefits administration 
    • Assist with the administration of benefits data feeds and info sharing with carriers, leave of absence intake questions & reporting, open enrollment support, or audit/reporting assistance
    • Provide exemplary customer service and hospitality in every interaction with fellow Blue Bottlers. Support the company in any way possible to ensure a successful and fulfilling work experience for everyone

You are:

    • Able to work independently and manage a wide variety of projects simultaneously under tight deadlines

You have:

    • 2-3 years experience in a Total Rewards or HR analytics role in a corporate/home office setting; experience with retail or hospitality industries is a plus
    • Advanced Google Sheets/Excel and analytical skills (e.g., Vlookups, Index/Match, Structured References, and Pivot Tables) and experience with Google Suite (e.g., Sheets, Slides, Docs)
    • Experience with UKG / Kronos Workforce Ready or other related HRIS and benefits systems, including manipulating data, report writing, and supporting integrations
    • The ability to exercise discretion, judgment, tact, and poise in handling highly sensitive and confidential information
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills - you’re able to effectively communicate what we are doing and why we are doing it in layman's terms
    • Strong organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to navigate in a fast-paced & performance-oriented environment
    • Proven ability to exercise excellent judgment and discretion

A few benefits we offer:

    • This position has a salary range of $85,500-$95,000 annually. This salary is a good-faith estimate for this position. The final salary offer will be determined after reviewing relevant factors, which include a candidate's qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
