We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic technology team. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of implementing and maintaining robust infrastructure solutions while fostering a collaborative environment that drives continuous improvement and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain scalable and automatable infrastructure solutions using modern DevOps practices and tools
Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and build pipelines to ensure dependable software delivery
Manage and monitor Linux-based systems with a focus on performance, security, reliability and automation
Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps practices throughout the software development lifecycle
Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment, upgrade and maintenance processes
Troubleshoot complex technical issues across development, staging, and production environments
Occasionally, participate in on-call rotations and incident response procedures
Document processes, procedures, and system architectures to ensure knowledge sharing and maintainability
Contribute to architectural decisions and technology stack evaluations
Mentor junior team members and promote DevOps best practices across the organization
Required Qualifications
Experience Requirements
Minimum 5 years of demonstrable experience in a DevOps or similar infrastructure-focused role within the technology industry
Proven track record of successfully implementing and managing production systems at scale
Technical Competencies
Linux Systems Administration: Strong hands-on experience with Linux environments, with particular emphasis on Ubuntu and/or Debian distributions
Scripting and Automation: Proficiency in Bash scripting and Python programming for automation and system administration tasks
Containerization: Solid experience with Docker and Docker Compose for application containerization and orchestration
CI/CD Pipeline Management: Demonstrated experience building and maintaining continuous integration and deployment pipelines, with specific emphasis on GitLab CI and GitHub Actions
Configuration Management: Desired experience with Ansible for infrastructure automation and configuration management

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
Experience with Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms is a plus but not essential
Understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements
