We are seeking an experienced UI/UX Designer to join our UX Design team at BlueCat. You will report to the UI/UX Manager, and you will be responsible for designing intuitive user interfaces for our BlueCat digital products solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Engineers, and User researchers, to create seamless and user-centered product solutions. The ideal candidate is a team player and has a strong portfolio demonstrating a deep understanding of user-centered design principles and possesses excellent visual and interaction design skills (UI/UX). Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality designs within project timelines.
 
Responsibilities:
·       Collaborate with the other members of the UX Design team, Product Managers, Engineers, and user researchers to understand user needs, business requirements, and technical constraints.
·       Create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that effectively communicate design concepts and interaction ideas.
·       Design intuitive and user-centered interfaces for all the BlueCat applications, ensuring consistency, usability, and accessibility across all our different platforms, using our BlueCat Design System Language.
·       Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions and iterate on designs based on user feedback.
·       Develop and maintain our BLueCat Design System Language, all guidelines, style guides, and UI component libraries to ensure consistency and efficiency in design processes.
·       Provide high fidelity Hand-off design work, including high fidelity clickable prototypes
·       Collaborate with Engineers to ensure accurate implementation of design work and provide guidance during the entire development process.
·       Stay up to date with the latest design trends, industry standards, and emerging technologies, and apply them to enhance the user experience.
·       Advocate for user-centered design principles within the organization and educate stakeholders on the value of superior design.
 
Required qualifications:
·       Bachelor's or higher degree in Interaction Design, Visual Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
·       At least 4+ years of experience as a UI/UX Designer, with a strong portfolio highlighting design skills and processes.
·       A very good proficiency in design tools (Figma).
·       Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design (UI).
·       Experience creating wireframes, interactive prototypes, and visual designs for all applications.
·       Familiarity with front-end development technologies and their impact on design implementation.
·       Knowledge of usability testing methodologies and the ability to apply user research insights to design solutions.
·       Strong visual design skills, including an understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles.
·       Experience working in an Agile environment
·       Fluent in English, with good written and verbal communication skills.
·       Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present and justify design decisions to stakeholders.
·       Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality designs within project timelines.
