We are seeking a detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our team in Serbia. This role combines HR administration and compliance oversight, ensuring seamless HR operations while maintaining adherence to Serbian labour laws and company policies. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple processes efficiently.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
·       Provides first point of contact for HR support to employees and managers in Serbia, responding to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, programs, benefits, perks and redirecting as needed to appropriate team members.
·       Administers the onboarding and offboarding processes including new hire paperwork, HRIS changes, mandatory social insurance (CROSO) registrations and de-registrations, conducting orientation sessions, benefits enrolment, and communications with internal stakeholders.
·       Leads the off-boarding process including but not limited to HRIS changes, payroll & benefit updates.
·       Maintains accurate employee files, physical archive records, and HR databases, ensuring all documentation meets GDPR and Serbian legal requirements.
·       Ensures our HRIS system (BambooHR) and surrounding processes meet the needs of the organization, employees and other stakeholders through researching best practices and promoting continuous improvement.
·       Supports payroll by accurately processing changes in HRIS and internal systems, tracking these changes on a monthly basis.
·       Draft, review, and update employment annexes, ensuring alignment with Serbian labour laws and internal policies.
·       Maintain and update the Rulebook on the Organization and Systematization of Jobs.
·       Assist in the completion and updating of our Employee Handbook.
·       Generate employment verification letters and other HR-related certificates for various employee needs (e.g., bank loans, account and tax, kindergartens etc,).
·       Support in the process of sick leave and other extended leave of absences (e.g. maternity or parental leave).
·       Manage and administer ongoing workplace health & safety requirements, as needed.
 
Qualifications:
·       Bachelor's degree in finance, human resources, business administration, or a related field.
·       1-3 years of HR or related administration experience.
·       Strong knowledge of Serbian employment laws and social security obligations.
·       Experience working with HRIS and payroll software.
·       Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage confidential data.
·       Knowledge of principles, practices and trends in HR systems with a focus on applying HRIS technologies to product and service development, delivery and support.
·       Self-motivated to problem-solve and seek out ways to troubleshoot when needed
·       An entrepreneurial approach to work, taking preliminary steps to do what needs to be done; showing genuine willingness to be held accountable for successes and failures; seeking out and engages in self-improvement.
·       Strong communication and interpersonal skills in both Serbian and English, a collaborative nature and the ability to build effective relationships with all levels of the organization
·       Strong sense of urgency and ability to handle multiple priorities
·       Proven ability to work independently to achieve results including taking ownership of deliverables and being accountable for the results
