In this opportunity, you would work with a market leader in a cyber security company based in Austin, TX. They are looking for passionate, dedicated folks who want to join them in the fight against cybercrime.


What are we looking for?

In this opportunity, we are looking for Business Development Representatives to continue to expand our client. Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting potential customers and connecting them with someone from the sales team. You will help boost sales and contribute to our long-term business growth. Our ideal candidate should be an organized, detail-oriented, and self-starter.

Our client is based in Austin, TX. They were founded in 2018 and quickly became a market leader in cybersecurity. They are educating the public on the risk of hackers and developing an accessible extension of the security team for their clients. Their main goal is to make security a top priority. 

Our client identified a problem when it comes to corporate cybersecurity. It's very opaque, meaning that companies need to involve every employee of the organization in their cybersecurity strategy. When everyone in the organization knows why security is essential, hackers do not win. They utilize the power of AI to notify in real-time employees about leaks, breaches, and hacks so that way the security team can quickly take security measures and the risk is minimized. 

Here are some of the exciting day-to-day challenges you will face in this role:

    • Identify and target potential clients through various channels, including online research, social media, and industry events.
    • Initiate contact with prospects via phone calls, emails, and other communication methods to generate interest in our cybersecurity solutions.
    • Assess the needs and requirements of potential clients to determine if our solutions align with their cybersecurity goals.
    • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to optimize lead generation strategies and contribute to overall business growth.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of interactions with prospects using our CRM system.
    • Collaborate with colleagues to share insights, strategies, and best practices for continuous improvement.

You will shine if you have these skills:

    • Understanding of sales performance metrics
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
    • Ability to work in a collaborative environment
    • Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, or similar role

It doesn’t hurt if you also:

    • Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
    • Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
    • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
