We’re looking for an Associate Data Analyst to support the implementation of Bluesight SaaS products for our hospital customers. This is an entry-level position tailored for someone with a customer-focused mentality, technical proficiency, excellent communication skills, and obsessive attention to detail. Working with customers and technical teams, you will contribute to a successful customer experience by setting up infrastructure, analyzing data, responding to technical questions, and building tools that help you do all of that more efficiently and effectively.
Representative Duties and Responsibilities:
- Validate, reconcile, and analyze data input from disparate systems to ensure data integrity
- Clearly communicate data findings and serve as a point person for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Partner with the implementation project lead and the customer to track progress, provide timely updates, and review data points with customers
- Consult with customers on how to properly extract, transform, and load their data into the Bluesight platform
- Acquire and retrieve data as necessary and assist in troubleshooting of data issues to ease end-user use of the application
- Collaborate cross-functionally with the implementation, product, and engineering team to identify trends, improve processes, and enhance data pipelines.
- Perform reconciliation and quality assurance of client data through the use of analytical and audit procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience
- Professional communication skills - written and verbal - that demonstrate an ability to work well on a team and with both technical and non-technical customer contacts
- Past experience with queries on relational (SQL, MS-SQL, Oracle) or non-relational databases (MongoDB).
- Proficiency operating from the command line (e.g. bash, zsh, powershell) to interact with files, data, execute scripts and command-line tools.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with high attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, balance competing priorities, and meet goals and deadlines
- Self-starter with a demonstrated history of success, multiple examples of taking initiative, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in teams and consistently meet or exceed customer expectations
- Experience working on an Operations team, especially in a customer-facing or implementation-focused role
- Familiarity with installing or implementing SaaS products in a client environment
- Knowledge of hospital EHR systems (e.g. Epic, Oracle(Cerner), MEDITECH, etc.)
- Experience working with PHI, understanding of HIPAA and patient privacy
Additional Desirable Experience:
$55,000 - $60,000 a year
Bluesight offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees. The pay range for this position is $55,000 - $60,000 and includes eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
This position is a remote position and open to applicants in the continental United States.
