Position Overview
BGI is looking for an experienced Security Systems Project Manager to drive accurate and cost effective, standardization and decision making that supports consistency for all global security technical efforts associated with our assigned clients located in the Los Angeles Metropolitan area.

Essential Job Functions
·      Lead project management, scheduling, structure, analysis.
·      Oversee security system design: device locations, device schedules, logical relationship diagrams,
means and methods narratives and specifications.
·      Construction management and report writing.
·      Support in the testing, commissioning, and project close-out activities.
·      Understanding of project management life cycle, with an ability to read and understand proposals
and develop preliminary project plans including, but not limited to tasks timeframes, and deliverables.
·      Track project related issues and work with project team members to follow up on issues and status.
Identify barriers to resolving issues and develop strategies to overcome barriers; provide follow-up activities
around issues.
·      Ensure projects are effectively executed within budgeted cost and time schedules and ensure positive cash flow.
·      Interface with the client and responsible for maximizing client satisfaction, safety, and quality assurance
on all assigned projects. Respond to inquiries and answer technical client questions in a timely and
professional manner.
·      Provide expert level consultation and technical services on all aspects of Security Systems.
·      Provide security compliance recommendations.
·      Ensure change management considerations are identified and implemented within all projects.
·      Lead discovery interviews, risk analysis, and communications regarding changes affecting the organization.
·      Improve program performance via regular status reporting and executive reviews. Investigate specific
performance issues and communicate early warning signs of risk. Enforce consistent performance reporting.
·      Identify project level milestones and integrate them into an overall program level strategy. Supervise all
project scheduling, monitor schedule variances and recommend corrective action
·      Track actual spend, report variances, and adjust future forecasts with proper change control.
·      All other assignments as required.
 
Required Skills and Experience
·      5+ years of experience as a project manager leading enterprise wide application level deployments
·      4+ years of PM experience assisting with management of projects, budget input, and project updates
·      4+ years of PM in construction and security
·      PMP and/or CISSP is encouraged
·      Entertainment industry and/or studio operations experience preferred
·      Understanding and familiarity of network architecture and information security concepts with ability to
collaborate with cross-functional peers ex. Genetec, CCure, Exacq, Code Blue Toolvox, AXIS Camera
Management, Lenel, Milestone, Perspective, Mastermind, AMAG, etc.
·      Experience with integrating security systems across various corporate platforms ex. facility codes /
badge formats / card types / various video technologies / visitor management systems
·      Solid project management skills with proficiency managing numerous concurrent project deliverables with
little supervision
·      Solid personal communication and diplomacy skills
·      Proficient with Microsoft Office
·      Knowledge of IT infrastructure lifecycle management
·      Experience with implementation of mobile credentials, or systems security for events, a plus
