Bond Vet is building the next generation of veterinary clinics from the ground up — and we’re looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team.  

We’re focused on urgent care, so we’re there for pets when they need us most. Our clinics are designed with pets and people in mind — they’re warm, friendly, and highly sniffable. We balance this design with a strong focus on technology, all built in-house, which means we can easily innovate our systems to improve the veterinary team, pet, and client experience.  

Our Construction Project Manager will drive the build-out process of new locations to support Bond Vets rapid growth. You will work with a highly talented team that leads the way in changing the veterinary industry and report directly to the Chief Product and Co-founder. You will lead the entire construction process from pre-construction activities to successful turnover and opening of each clinic.

What You’ll Do:

    • Take ownership of all pre-construction activities including feasibility studies of locations through site visits and preliminary budget estimations. 
    • Manage relationships with architects, designers, contractors, and vendors throughout each phase of construction.
    • Own the process of creating and managing cost estimates, budgets, and timelines. 
    • Lead our efforts to continuously rethink and improve clinic designs.
    • Lead weekly project status calls with general contractors, design and procurement to ensure all milestones are met. 
    • Highlight any project risks and come up with creative solutions to keep project schedules on track and within budget.
    • Effectively communicate progress, potential issues, and opportunities for improvement to leadership. 
    • Expand the range of consultants, vendors and contractors to accommodate the growth plans of Bond Vet.

You Have:

    • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in construction management, preferably as an owner’s representative in the retail or hospitality industry.
    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
    • Experience negotiating costs and managing budgets. 
    • Experience managing multiple projects at once in various stages of development.
    • Strong interpersonal skills. 
    • A problem-solving, can-do mentality. 
    • An exceptional attention to detail.
