Class A CDL Driver

Do you check your car before heading to work each day? Are you a gearhead that takes pride in taking care of your equipment? Have you mastered untangling ratchet straps? If you answered yes, Nu-Tec is seeking a skilled and dependable Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our production team. As a CDL truck driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a commercial motor vehicle to transport supplies and materials to designated job sites. Your primary focus will be on maintaining a high level of safety, adhering to traffic laws and regulations, and delivering cargo on time.

Requirements

    • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
    • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Class A CDL Truck Driver preferred.
    • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
    • Able to pass a drug screen.
    • HazMat endorsement required.
    • Willing to learn to operate a crane preferred.
    • Knowledge of proper loading and load weight distribution techniques.
    • Excellent knowledge of DOT trucking regulations and procedures.
    • Ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
    • Strong communication skills.
    • Physical stamina and strength to handle loading and unloading of cargo and perform occasional lifting and carrying of heavy items.
    • Attention to detail to accurately complete paperwork and maintain delivery records.

Compensation & Benefits

    • $24/hour and up dependent upon experience.
    • Health, pharmacy, vision, and dental insurance after 90 days.
    • 401k w/ 3% automatic employer contribution.
