Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Questionnaire
We know you’ve probably seen this survey many times, and we know that statistically, employees often opt out of disclosing their marginalized identity out of fear of discrimination or being singled out.
That’s why we scrapped our corporate and clinical speak in favor of speaking to you human-to-human, instead of treating you like a statistic.
This survey is entirely optional. Any information you provide will be anonymous, and is NOT connected to your name or application. Bonusly recognizes that this is a personal decision, and whether or not someone discloses their identity will not affect the hiring process.
We wouldn’t be asking you to fill this out if it wasn’t important, so we’d like to outline why we ask, and how our recruiting and people operations teams use this information:
- Analyze the percentage of marginalized folks who move beyond the resume screening to mitigate bias in the screening and interview process
- Compare the applicant identities to the identities of who was actually hired, and use relevant research and statistics to inform sourcing practices. (Research shows that if only 25% of your candidate pool are women, there is a 0% chance that a woman will be hired)
- Identify roadblocks in the interview process that may be disproportionately effecting candidates with marginalized identities, so we can lessen and/or remove those barriers
Finally, to be clear, Bonusly values a safe, inclusive, and diverse workplace and does not discriminate on the basis of any protected characteristics, including age, race, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression.
